About Me:
Hello, my name is Yvonne. I am 38 years old and have a wealth of health/care experience, both hospital based and in individuals own homes. I have extensive knowledge of moving and handling , dementia care, catheter and continence care, Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Palliative care, Muscular Dystrophy, peg feeding, tracheostomy care and managing ventilation amongst other skills. I have worked with adults of every ability, with a variety of conditions both mental and physical. You will find me warm, dependable and trustworthy.

I started working for the NHS in 2005. Working in outpatients. I then moved to the NHS Lothian Staff Bank working in most Edinburgh hospitals though mainly the RIE.
I also worked for a home care company for a 2 year period where I had a list of regular clients whom I built positive relationships with.
I currently work one day per week with a client with severe disabilities who requires 24 hour ventilation.

Food: I enjoy a variety of food. I very much enjoy cooking meals from scratch when time allows and enjoy getting my young daughter involved too.

Days Out: Days out are usually family orientated as I have a 6 year old daughter. Parks, cafes, cinema etc. I also have a passion for horse racing!
