I am 26 years old and Mummy to a baby boy. I possess excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills and the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships. I thrive in highly pressurised and challenging working environments. I am a very approachable person who loves to listen and support others sharing knowledge and giving advice when it is needed. I aim to enrich the quality of life of others and have a strong desire to provide a quality support service to people in need of assistance.

Other Experience:

I have previously worked with a range of clients including elderly living with dementia, highly traumatised and challenging children and adults and young people living with physical and mental disabilities. My experience is in residential living settings. I am therefore aware how important it is to follow an individuals care plan and have great knowledge of current legislation and policies. I understand it is difficult for families with relatives needing professional care. I have experience in report writing, working with multi agencies and being caring and compassionate. I am aware it is important not only to look after my clients but also their environment ensuring it is clean and safe.

Qualifications

I have a degree in Psychology with Criminology and also an NVQ Level 3 Children and Young people's Workforce. I have had vast training in all areas of care including therapeutic care, medication, health and safety, first aid, fire, equality and diversity and much more.

Interests

Food: I enjoy a healthy balanced diet. My favourite food would have to be cottage pie or curry.

Music: I love listening to any kind of music from pop to country.

TV: Having a baby I struggle to watch anything other than baby TV! If I do get the chance though I like to keep up with the soaps.

Films: I enjoy true story films.

Books: I love a true story.

Days Out: I enjoy spending time outside walking and exploring.
