I'm a happy outgoing person very flexible and who likes to go the extra mile for my clients, i take pride in my work, i enjoy what i do it's not always easy but the challenge is also very satisfying, I'm a very respectful person with lots of old fashioned values, this doesn't mean that I don't embrace modern methods as i am totally open to anything new that can make this profession a more enjoyable experience for both client and carer,i like to think I'm a very kind and caring person and also understanding. I have been a carer for over 10 years now, i have worked in both the community and private sector, i was a support worker for the charity "CROSSROADS" which also looked after the carer and the cared for, i also worked for "AGE CONCERN", i have done palliative care, and also been a P.A for a lady privately who i spent 5 years with, i have a lot of experience with dementia and Alzheimer's, my own mother has suffered with Alzheimer's for the past 9 years, i have cared for many. People from all walks of life, before all this i was a cashier in a bank.
