About Me:

My name is Shaumen Gray and I am a trained nurse for over 24 years. I am a Registered Nurse, Certified Midewife and Trained Intensive Care Nurse. I was trained in the Caribbean and have worked there for the past 24 years. I have just moved to the UK about a month ago and am a British Citizen. In the Caribbean I have worked as an all rounder from delivering babies to specializing critically ill patients and taking care of the elderly. I also manage the Hospital on most shifts that I worked, teach nursing students and present lectures at in service educations. I have travelled all over the Caribbean to attend workshops related to nursing and care of the ill patients. Looking after the ill and caring for the elderly have been a passion of mines from the time I have known myself. The best gratitude is to be able to care for someone who is ill or in need of care and see their progress especially if they are ill and then recovered. My love for the elderly help encouraged me to move to the UK to help take care of my grandmother who is 101 years. I have been visiting her on a yearly base until I had my twin boys and the few years that I did not see her was really hard for me. I promise that my skills and level of education would be an asset to your firm.
