My name is Rosie and I am 52years old. I am a lady from Black African origin and I have lived in the United Kingdom for the past 20 years. I live in Glasgow-Scotland. I am a British citizen and I have the right to work in the UK. I have worked in the caring profession since 1997 and have had the opportunity to work with individuals of different ages and experiencing different conditions. I worked in hospitals, day care centres, nursing homes and in home environments as a live inn carer. Through all of these experiences, I have developed soft skills such as critical observation, conflict resolution, patience, tolerance and clear communication. I believe these experiences would allow me to achieve success working with any individual. I am confident that these experiences will allow me to be a productive member and can work in any environment. I am currently working as a Live Inn Carer supporting individuals live independently in their home environment, assist the client in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and personal hygiene at all times and in a respectful and dignified manner. This could include assisting with toileting, washing, and catheter care. Preparing meals and refreshments in accordance to the requests and dietary needs of the individual. Keeping attendance records and all documentation up to date, ensuring all information is recorded accurately on a daily basis and retained in accordance with the Data Protection Act. To ensure that all tasks carried out for the client is documented on the attendance sheets and liaising with client families and line manager
I previously worked as a Support Worker, providing help to individual with learning difficulties with all aspects of personal care and facilitating socialization and social activities.
