About Me:
I'm a self employed live in carer with 14 years experience from Bermuda but based in Manchester for the last 5 years who enjoys working with the elderly and helping them to maintain their quality of life in the comfort of their home. My experience includes caring mostly for clients with dementia,mental illness,poor mobility, incontinence and bowel management plus a few other conditions. I'm available for respite care, holiday cover, post hospital after care, or bespoke short term contracts starting with a minimum of 2 weeks care and as a conservative carer my preference is working with elderly women. My experience also involves medication administration/prompting ,personal care, moving&handling, shopping, mobility support, meal preparation, companionship and light housekeeping. My hobbies are travel, learning different cultures and period dramas. I'm patient and enjoy listening, chatting and being a support to my clients as well as having a good laugh with them.
