About Me:
I am a mature experienced complex live in carer, specialising in post operative, palliative and end of life care.
I am a widow, with a grown up family, and I am available for short term, relief and emergency live in care, in the North West of England.
I am friendly, able to quickly adapt to circumstances and help people get through their difficult days, both clients and their families.
Other Services:
Able to offer moving and handling via standing or gantry hoists for dependent clients.
I offer bespoke risk assessments for clients with high risk of injury if moved or handled the wrong way.
I also offer mentoring for clients who would like to stay in their own home, but need modifications or adaptions, and are considering if live in carer is the right option for them.

Specialising in complex cases, such as MS, Chilcott Marie Tooth, a rare genetic disorder, Fredreichs Ataxia, Stroke, Brain injuries, Heart failure, spinal injuries.
I am a qualified Health and Safety consultant, with NeBOSH, the National standard in Occupational Health and Safety. I write risk assessments and care plans for clients.

Interests
Food: I like traditional English food, Italian, and rice dishes. I am a good cook and baker and like to prepare all food from fresh so far as possible.
Music: Classical, Rock, 40;s and 50's. I also like band music and comic opera, such as Gilbert and Sullivan
TV: I don't watch TV, as I don 't have one! However with clients I am happy to watch with them Whatever they like. I enjoy nature, cooking, history and travel.
Films: Most films, but not horror. I am a comedy fan, some of the oldies like Laurel and Hardy and many others.
Books: History, travel, cook books, architecture and horses and farming books.
Days Out: Scenic places, and trips to historic cities such as York, Chester and other historic market towns.
Other Interests: Cooking, jam making, swimming, walking, climbing and horse riding.
