About Me:

Hi, my name is Khaley and I have almost 10 years experience supporting people with different care needs. Caring is my passion knowing that I have helped someone and made a difference in someone’s life. I got into care due to my mum needing carers, it showed me how she was treated with respect and dignity. It made me wanted to support others in the same way. I have a level 3 in Health and social care and currently studying my degree in Healrh and Social Care

Other Experience:

I have worked on a nursing unit for 5 years. This was helping support people who had strokes, diabetes, people who needed support repositioning regularly, catheter care and end of life care. Supporting people to eat.
I have also worked with young adults to 65 year olds with learning disabilities. This involved supporting people to live as independently as possible. Support with Peg feeding and medication. Support people to go out for the day and on holidays.
I also have experience working with day centres and supporting people with social and emotional well-being.
I have worked with clients with dementia and also supported individuals at home as a Reablement Officer whilst being a role model to the rest of the team. My duties involved ensuring people were safe at home and could live as independently at home following a hospital stay. Supporting people to the right professionals through referrals and building confidence.
