Clients Name: Michael
Food they like: He has his meals with his carer but otherwise likes tea, juice, biscuits etc.
Music: He likes classical music but is very hard of hearing and hasn't listened to any in recent times.
TV: I don't think he's that interested.
Films: He doesn't watch films.
Books: He is well read and has a good collection of Art books which he enjoys looking at. He was an accomplished painter before the dementia set in.
Days Out: He likes walking in parks and sitting in cafes. He gets tired these days so only walks short distances.
Other Interests: He likes pottering in the garden.
Details:
Michael is 100 yrs old and has dementia. He has a gentle nature but a really poor memory and is easily confused. He has a live-in carer who has a two hour break every afternoon. Although his mobility is good for his age, he is unsteady and we don't leave him alone anymore.
