About the Client
Clients Name: Sean
Details:
We require a night time carer for WEDNESDAY nights (21:00 - 09:00) which is an awake night shift and for Saturdays 09:00 - 12:00. 15 hours per week.
Sean is 27 years old and has Duchene Muscular Dystrophy. Sean lives with his husband Chris who works full time. Sean is on a ventilator at night and uses a cough assist as and when required.
The night shift carer sits with Sean who will already be in bed when they arrive. They watch movies together, chat and when Sean is ready he gets laid down and positioned ready to sleep. The carer can sit in the lounge adjacent to Seans room and they are responsible for listening out if Sean needs anything during the night.
Must like dogs as Sean has a Shihtzu dog who sleeps on the bed with him.
As Sean is classed as extremely vulnerable ideally you will have had or be in process of having your COVID vaccines.
Potentially further hours are available to cover holiday / sickness any other reasons so anyone who is up for overtime is welcomed.
IMPORTANT - anyone found asleep or suspected of sleeping during the night shift will be asked to leave.
