Details:
This is just a tentative enquiry at the moment. My wife Dorothy has dementia. She is also wheelchair-bound following a fall last December in which she fractured her C2 vertebrae. She is doubly incontinent so we currently have carers 4 times a day (8 am, 12 noon, 3 pm and 630 pm). The morning and evening visits can be up to 1 hour and the daytime usually 30 mins so it's not a taxing schedule.
I am hoping to book a holiday cottage suitable for a wheelchair in or near Southwold either end of June or early July. I am thinking about finding a local (to me) carer who I can bring with me but I also thought I would explore the possibility of recruiting somebody local for just the week.
