About the Client
Clients Name: Silvia
Food they like: Home cooked traditional Italian food. They do not like pre- prepared foods. They love their espresso!. (decaf)
Music: Absolutely love listening and (dancing,Dad) to Neopolitan and Italian music of the 50’s 60’s as well as Opera.
TV: TV is on almost all day if not listening to music. Favourite recognised programmes such as The Chase.
Films: They do not watch and follow but still love to see oldies.
Books: They do not read but dad loves to see picture books particularly of World geography/ famous places.
Days Out: Mum has poor mobility but both used to love going to Garden Centres and have tea and cake .
Other Interests: They both love nature, flowers and their garden.
Details:
We are looking for a lady carer for 3 hours a day for both our parents aged 79 and 83 . The hours do not need to be together and we would prefer to have 2 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. We are hoping to find an Italian lady carer with experience of working with Alzheimers. This is because my mother needs personal care. My father would not but he would need reminding to shower and would need clean clothes made visible to him.
They would need help as they rise in the morning with basic care followed by breakfast preparation, checking medication for mum is correctly taken and some light lunch provision .
Some light household chores to keep house tidy but dad is still great at this!The ideal person would be able to relate to Italian music of the 50’s,60’s which they both love.
