Details:
The client is a female disabled teacher who values her independence and ability to continue working. She is looking for a home carer who will be punctual and reliable.
Location: Lambourn Close, South Hanwell, London W7 2LN
Hours of working : 7 am to 8am -Monday, Tuesday, Thursday,
Friday, Saturday
8:30am – 9:30am Wednesday and Sunday
8pm – 9pm Monday and Thursday,
8:30pm – 9pm Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday
( No evening call on Tuesdays or Friday)
Duties
Daily Personal Care
• help apply medicinal cream
• cut toenails as required
• help with dressing
• help carry things to the car
• wipe/clear car windows
• load wheelchair into car
Essential Daily Housework Tasks
• making the bed
• wash/dry/put away washing up
• empty bins/renew bin liner in kitchen
• put rubbish in chute
• wipe kitchen surfaces and coffee table
• clean grill/microwave
• check toilet roll in bathroom
• wipe condensation from windows especially the bedroom as necessary
Housework to Be Done Each Week
• vacuum the bedroom and living room including under the coffee table
• clean bathroom --bath, sink, toilet and floor
• clean kitchen -- floor, front and sides of cupboards
• dusting -- TV/video, desk, side tables and chest of drawers in bedroom
• change sheets and pillowcases
• wash and iron clothes
Monthly Tasks
• clean windows/window sills/mirrors
• clean oven
• clean doorstep/door
• dust other surfaces, including pictures and corners of rooms not included in the weekly dust
• clean tops of cupboards in kitchen
• clean tops of doors
• wipe down doors
• clean out kitchen cupboards and contents
• clean radiators and skirting boards
• wash bathroom tiles
• clean fan in bathroom
• clean out bathroom tidy rack
NB: the carer may be left alone in the house to complete the housework
As required
• de-freeze fridge
• take down/wash/iron/put back up curtains.
A clear enhanced DBS check will be necessary for this role.
