Clients Name: Ian Nichols
Food they like: He eats porridge for breakfast, lunch is often soup or an omelette or sandwich, we all eat supper together. He has snacks of malt loaf, tea cakes, fruit or nutritious bars.
Music: Dad does not tend to listen to music although can enjoy military bands.
TV: The news, history programmes.
Films: We watch different films as a family.
Books: He has read military history books
Days Out: Sometimes we go out to eat lunch.
Other Interests: He enjoys very short walks around the garden and conversation.
Details:
My father is 86 years old and will be coming to live with us in Kingsbury Episcopi, he lost his wife of 60 years 18 months ago. He has capacity and some short term memory issues. He is a true gentleman and remains intelligent, kind and determined. We are trying to maintain his mobility, currently he walks with a stick and can manage stairs slowly. We have a pet border collie aged 9 who is my fathers companion.
