Hello, my name is Iveta. I am originally from Czech Republic but I've been in the UK for over four years. Caring comes naturally to me. I love to listen to my clients' stories and I feel that I can contribute to improve the life of my clients. It makes me happy to help people in their daily life and to encourage them to live as independently as possible and to make a difference. I am friendly, empathetic, patient and confident and pay great attention to detail. I like going for walks in nature (getting lost in the wilderness), love animals, listening to music (relaxation), playing the guitar, reading and travelling. I like to make healthy home made meals. I have been a domiciliary carer for over a year and have also been providing live in care till now. Within those years, I have gained a lot of experience from caring for a wide range of clients with different needs. Looking after people with mental and physical disabilities, including those who suffer from dementia, Alzheimer's, cancer, immobility problems combined with incontinence and palliative care. I have done all aspects of personal care, everything from dressing, grooming to hoisting, preparing meals, feeding and administering medication as well as providing companionship. I do also have experience in providing compassionate service to disabled and/or chronically ill clients.
