About Me:

I am a Scottish lady living in Scotland. Im fit and active and full of health - Im up to date with my Flu and covid vacations / still taking care in moving around - I enjoy a fitness class and swimming - going to the cinema and theatre along with lunch out - and shopping - Im looking for a long term postion but for the moment can cover respite or holiday cover - covering 24 /7 - I can cover Scotland and Cumbria - My background is the social care field with a HNC in Social Care - covering experience in nusery care - hosptial care - nursing home care Dementia Care Day centre - Support Worker in community care - before settling into 60 years + in need of 24/7 care at Home and are self funding - either solo client or couples - Equally client at home with additional person within household for meals only included or couples together requiring care - - I have knowledge of many care ailnents - pets welcome - all reflecting on costs that are hapily discussed before any agreements made - Ive been a sae live in carer since 2007 - Ive really enjoyed supporting 60 years + live at home as independant as can be who other wise could not be at home - I can cover all care ailments - cancer - allergies - old age frality - MS - Parkinson - Brain injury - arthristis End of Life care - Pallative care - I can provide tasty home made meals that suiteable for you either soft diet or pureed I drive - and have my own car- sorry not for buisness use but Im happy to drive your veichle once its insured - or take a taxi - I like animals and comfortable taking care of them - I am happy being in towns country or being by the sea - I enjoy being sociable and getting out and about - but equally happy in the flow of the day being home quiet or busy - Im quiet natured can be bubbly and chatty - I am a professional carer and can liase with Multi Disiplinary Team - along with record keeping and light household chores and ALL aspects or personal care and care needs - Im pretty open to most things and go with the flow of the day keeping things light hearted - I dont smoke but happy if you smoke with some ventalation - everything can we worked around - I work a 12 hour day with 2 break and an on call/ if really needed sleeping night care - ongoing or what required - I can provide a recomendation to a relief carer to cover some days If I need to take some time to honour my own commitments if needed - I have refrences - insurance - mandatory training - DBS checks - and a wealth of experience - I am aviliable and looking for knew ventures - Thankyou

Interests

Food: I love fresh tasty food - Im veggie and cook fresh indgrients from scratch and can manage food allergies and intolerances - I like to offer tasty wholesome meals and off course can cook meat and fish dishes served in a way that suiteable for you soft or pureed

Music: I love all music - something different for each day - music tells so much in life stories and moods

TV: I enjoy a good film - some of the soaps - when Im home I tend to have lunch with loose woman on Tv - open to some documentaries and like to tune into the 6 pm news daily

Films: Something with a good story -

Books: I prefer short stories -

Days Out: I love day trips - combined with a good walk and good tasty
Lunches out and a good chat is fab - I also enjoy the cinema and going to The Theatre and Shopping yes shopping for bits and pieces I really do not need

Other Interests: I enjoy being home and my own bits and pieces at home within the flow of being home - being a live in carer - being home becomes a real treat and something to honour - I enjoy the company of others - I love my zumba fitness classes and going for a swim - I enjoy a circuit walk up to about an hour and really enjoy the cinema and Theatre
