About Me:
My University Degree gained at Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey, is in the subject, Department of Family and Consumer Sciences, which covers a broad range of Social Care topics. My experience over the previous nine years since graduating university has been gained through placements in residential homes and orphanages and employment directly for individuals (children and adults) in need of care. My experience covers the following day to day care tasks: • Personal care and support (wash, shower, dress, toilet) • Meal preparation • Helping people to eat where they have needed assistance • Supporting with household tasks (cleaning) • Needs assessment (identifying client care requirements) • Shopping support • Emotional and social support I have recently moved to the UK and have set up a company so that I can operate as a carer and use the skills, experience and knowledge I have gained over the previous nine years. My aim is to provide high standard home care services. My experience in the provision of home care services gives me a strong grounding to be able to provide a broad range of services with a focus on giving a personal centred approach. My company, Rosegold Home Care Services Limited is covered by Public Liability Insurance and I have applied for DBS check on 21 March 2020 so expect this to be completed shortly.

I have assisted Mrs Ozdemir with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting. Mrs Ozdemir was unable to undertake domestic tasks due to poor mobility, therefore I performed light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming and changing beds.
Whilst supporting Mrs Ozdemir with activities of daily life, I ensured that she remained as independent as she can.
I believe each service user is an individual and assess accordingly to meet their needs. I am open-minded and enthusiastic about finding ways that can meet their needs.
By supporting Mrs Ozdemir, I ensured she remained at home as long as possible.
