About Me:
Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Diana Swan mother to three grown children and a Siamese Cat and Golden Retriever Dog. I am a British Citizen born in Colonial Kenya, moving back to the UK for schooling etc and then returning to South Africa. My life has been spent both in the UK and South Africa, where I now have a home however most of my time is spent working in the UK. I believe I am trustworthy, hardworking, reliable, down to earth and have a great sense of humour and can adjust to changing circumstances. I enjoy a happy and creative environment and have a great interest in decorating and renovating property, whilst the online world provides hours of stimulation hence my most recent professional roles within Digital Media. For the past 4 years I have been engaged in companion/PA assignments throughout the UK providing me with a degree of experience in the likes and dislikes most closely associated with personal environments. Some of my assignments have included high care although I am most happy in the role of Companion/PA where I may assist the client with paperwork, social engagements, travel and Medical appointments etc I would be quite open to an enhanced role providing further lifestyle or Business support.

81yr old Male, who had unexpectedly lost his wife, she had died in her sleep in his bed, a few weeks previously. I was his first carer, so the situation was new to him. A dear man who unknown to the rest of the family in the late stages of the second stage of Alzheimer's, his wife had successfully hidden this from the family. He could become aggressive at times, and he was not always safe, he had to be watched most of the time. In the end, his attachment to me was becoming too intense,( he saw me as his replacement wife) and I needed a break from the strain hence I felt the break was healthy.

I met her previously through a friend who had worked for her so had some history and knowledge and was happy to take the role. I was with her for 8 weeks until returning to SA for Christmas.
98 yr old Lord although mobile, frail, a sharp mind and great sense of humour though at times very repetitive. I was his assistant, no personal care was required, I administered his medications and ensured his health on a number of occasions I requested his private Dr for checkups. I accompanied him to engagements in London and locally. He was a pleasure to care for. I replaced his full-time carer another friend whilst she was in SA.
A couple who are both 82yrs old. He had Alzheimer's though not advanced, she had mild cognitive problems. I was employed to oversee their welfare and ensure their comfort and safety. I was with them till the end of 2017
