Hi, my name is Debbie, I’m interested in being a carer/ companion for someone with additional needs, I’m very good at MAKATON sign and love to help people have a really enjoyable time , I’d like to be part of someone’s life not only as a carer but as a friend aswell.

This is my first advert for this line of work,
I spend a lot of time with my grandparents age 83 and 85,
I have LOTS of experience with working with children with disabilities and would like to extend this to young people/ adults with disabilities.

Qualifications

Other Qualifications:

I Have a NCFE CACHE level 5 diploma in leadership for health and social care and children’s and young people’s services.
THOMAS Autism training
Norwegian woodland trained level 1-5

Days Out: I love any days out , from parks, garden centres , art clubs, walks , gardening , visiting friends, shopping and so on.

Other Interests: I love walking my dog.
And spending time with elderly and young adults with disabilities.
I love to learn new skills
