About Me:
I am kind, calm, patient and really enjoy helping others to be independent. I believe everyone is entitled to have choices, make their own decisions and live their lives as they choose. I enjoy helping others enormously and am able to emphasise with the people I care for and support.
Interests
Food: I really enjoy cooking and baking all types of food, am knowledgeable regarding nutrition and food preparation, just let me know what you like any I am sure you will be more than happy with what I produce. I love a challenge and will endeavour to provide healthy, tasty and appetising food suitable to dietary needs. I have a reputation amongst everyone who knows me for my delicious meals and baking.
Music: Cheerful upbeat music. Nothing too loud or aggressive. I like folk, acoustic and some gentle classical. I enjoy listening to radio 2 and radio 4.
TV: Danish series with sub titles - Bergen, The Bridge. Call The Midwife most recent favourite.
Films: Happy, romantic, comedy and second world war films. Romantic costume drama.
Books: I am not a big reader but favourite authors are Sebastian Faulks, Khaled Hosseini. I'll give any book recommended a go.
Days Out: Love being out and about, walking in the countryside, parks, visiting English Heritage and National Trust properties and sites. Visiting the coast/seaside. I am very easy going, fit and healthy and happy to drive anywhere. Cinema, theatre, live music.
Other Interests: I enjoy a browse of a daily newspaper usually The Times, sometimes The Telegraph. I love my dog and my adult children. I believe family life is extremely important.
